Overview Edit

Baste's performance. March 20, 2017 The hosts of Juan for All, All for Juan announced that the Broadway Boys will have a concert.

After the completion of Lola's Playlist, the four male finalists of Lola's Playlist made regular appearances on Eat Bulaga! as in-house performers of classic OPM hits, providing a mini-concert for the avid viewers of the noontime show. As their popularity rose, the finalists officially became known as the Broadway Boys.

With the growing support for the Broadway Boys, numerous fans requested that the young quartet perform with a veteran singer of the Philippine music industry. Eat Bulaga! eventually granted their request by inviting the country's premier balladeer Basil Valdez to sing with the Broadway Boys onstage. After the success of the first mini-concert, Eat Bulaga! soon decided to make the concert a regular segment by inviting different respected singers to perform with the quartet every Saturday.

Since its inception, The Broadway Boys have performed with the most respected Filipino singers such as Regine Velasquez, Kuh Ledesma, Lani Misalucha, Dulce, Aegis, Rico J. Puno, Wency Cornejo, Joey Generoso, Bituin Escalante, Imelda Papin, Luke Mejares, and Jessa Zaragoza, and Freddie Aguilar.

International icons who have performed with the Broadway Boys include John Ford Coley, an Eagles' tribute band named The Long Run, the cast of Matilda the Musical, and Journey frontman Arnel Pineda.

The segment has also been used in order to introduce the first original single of The Broadway Boys titled "Nag-iisa", which was written and composed by host and songwriter Tito Sotto. The single was performed on 20 January 2018.
