Dabarkads Awards 2014 is the first edition of the awards ceremony that honors the best moments of Eat Bulaga!'s Holy Week special presentations for 2014. It took place at the Broadway Centrum on 26 April 2014.
The first edition was held in the same year that the Eat Bulaga's Lenten Special returned on television with fresh, new episodes after its seven-year hiatus. Malou Choa-Fagar described the awards ceremony as a reward for a job well done, for a job that is unfamiliar to most of the Dabarkads hosts.
The ceremony was hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
The 2014 awards ceremony featured five categories: Best Story, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Role, and Best Child Performer.
The decision for each category was based on 50% of the judges' score and 50% of the viewers' text votes.
An esteemed panel of judges selected the winners for each category. The judges included veteran and master director multi-awarded actor Philip Salvador, veteran and master director Mel Chionglo, The Philippine Star columnist Butch Francisco, Golden Screen Awards executive Ricky Calderon, and Philippine Movie Press Club vice president Mell Navarro.
Home viewers voted for the nominees from category via SMS text voting. Instructions on how to vote were displayed during the live telecast of Eat Bulaga! throughout the week prior to the ceremony.
As the sole nominee of the Best Child Performer category, Ryzza Mae Dizon automatically won the prestigious award.
Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon hosted the awards ceremony.
