Doble Kara 2020 is an edition of Eat Bulaga!'s unique singing competition for individuals who can sing equally well in both male and female voices while also dressed half-man and half-woman. The segment premiered on 2 March 2020 and concluded on 7 March 2020.

The week-long competition was one of the 15 Tatak Eat Bulaga! segments revived as part of the noontime show's 40th anniversary celebration.[1] The short-lived and rapid-fire revival of the segments aimed to give the new generation of Filpinos an opportunity to experience the show's several iconic and original contests. Winners were scheduled to face off in the Tatak Eat Bulaga! Grand Showdown in mid-2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic postponed the final competition indefinitely.

Renz "Victoria" Perez, the 30-year-old singer from Cavite City, Cavite, was hailed as the grand winner at the end of the competition. He impressed the audience with his rendition of the 1994 soundtrack "Forever" by the Filipino band Passage.

Overview

Auditions

The contest was open to both men and women 18 years old or above who have the ability to sing in both male and female voices and switch instantly from one to the other. As part of their performance, one-half of their body is dressed in male clothing, while the other half is dressed in female clothing. Auditions were held at APT Studios.

Daily rounds

The daily rounds occurred from 2 to 5 March 2020. Each episode featured two new contestants who competed against one another with their two-in-one vocal performances. The contestants repeatedly turned to the side of their body that matches the male and female singing voices that they are switching between.

After each performance, the hosts interviewed the contestants briefly and then gave them an easy challenge, usually acting out a social scenario involving both of their male and female counterparts.

Winners received ₱25,000 and advanced to the grand finals of the competition.
