EB Heroes honors the civil accomplishments of several Filipinos who have been helping the underprivileged from far-flung faces.
As part of its commitment to give back for its 30th anniversary, Eat Bulaga! quietly searched the whole country to look for seemingly ordinary people whose contributions to society had been previously unheralded. Those people were declared as the unsung heroes of today and were given a small reward as a token of appreciation.
The trophy that was given to the ordinary heroes was designed by Rodell Cruz and sculpted by Manny Tolentino. The trophies were given to all fourteen heroes who were recognized by the noontime show.
One final trophy was dedicated to every single student, doctor, engineer, police officer, soldier, OFWs and other hardworking individuals who are the unheralded heroes of the community.
The recognition ceremony is part of the "Tatlong Dekads ng Dabarkads" anniversary celebration of noontime show.
