This season, three varied stories and perceptions about love will be dramatized that will topbill the main hosts of the longestrunning noontime program. Just like the past Holy Week presentation that TAPE, Inc. has brought to the public, this year, the three stories will be encouraging, awakening and full of values that will teach each televiewer lessons about love and life.
The Holy Monday tearjerker is billed as "Perfect." It features Vic Sotto, Pia Guanio, The Sexbomb Girls, Aiza Seguerra, Ruby Rodriguez and Paolo Ballesteros. Here, Vic is in search of a perfect love but realizes that such kind of love is within the imperfections of the people that he meets and talks to everyday. That love bears all things and believes all things.
"True Love" is the title of the presentation on Holy Tuesday, March 22. The episode teaches each individual that love is patient. It is not rude and it is not selfseeking. Toni Rose Gayda serves as instrument to the other characters in the special played by Jimmy Santos, Anjo Yllana, Francis Magalona, Janno Gibbs, Ciara Sotto, Wally Bayola and Teri Onor in realizing what true love is.
Capping the threeday Holy Week treat is "Tahanan" on Holy Wednesday, March 23. Love for family is the main thrust of this crying piece and that love keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but delights in the truth. Joey de Leon stars on the story about a father longing for love from his children and vice versa. Both parties though soon discovered that the love they are looking are just within the four corners of their abode. With Joey on the episode are Michael V., Kempee de Leon, Jose Manalo, BJ, Allan K and guest performer, Pen Medina.
Tapped to direct the "Eat Bulaga" Lenten specials are Rowell Icamen and Gina Alajar from the teleplays of Bibeth Orteza Siguion Reyna.
"Perfect," "True Love" and "Tahanan" starring the formidable and solid hosts of "Eat Bulaga" will all be aired from 12 n.n. to 2 p.m. on GMA 7 this Holy Week.
