Marie Pauleen Jimenez Luna-Sotto is a Filipina actress and television personality. She hosted the noontime show Eat Bulaga! when it was under TAPE, Inc. until 31 May 2023. She had not joined the original EB hosts when they moved to TV5 after their mass resignation.

Early career and before a host of Eat Bulaga![]

Luna began her show business career when she joined Eat Bulaga!'s Little Miss Philippines talent contest in 1995 where she first met her husband, Vic Sotto. She began acting at 13 years of age when she became a member of ABS-CBN Corporation's Star Magic Batch 11 in 2002, before transferring to GMA Network.

As an Dabarkads[]

She was the first co-host to appear in EB before being a co-host. The second is Ryzza Mae Dizon, and the third is Luane Dy. She became one of the co-hosts since 2005.

As COVID-19 restrictions decreased, Luna would only start to appear on Saturdays on episodes where her husband is also present. Shortly after, she slowly disappeared from the show in the midst of an ongoing legal battle between TAPE Incorporated and the show's production team.

After her husband and her former co-hosts left Eat Bulaga, she would not be part of the main cast for E.A.T. Her only appearance as a host on the TV5 show would be during the segment Babala! 'Wag Kayong Ganuuun... alongside Eileen Macapagal-De Leon in celebration of National Dabarkads Day 2023.

Beyond Eat Bulaga![]

She played the role of Odessa in Etheria, the second installment of the Encantadia trilogy, and appeared in the second Koreanovela adaptation of GMA Network's Ako si Kim Samsoon. Following this, she appeared in Luna Mystika, starring Heart Evangelista. In 2009, she played with Dennis Trillo and Jennica Garcia in the romantic-comedy Adik Sa'Yo, and was later cast as the primary antagonist, Sofia Montemayor, in Ikaw Sana. Luna played Honey Toledo-Ferrer in the afternoon Philippine soap opera Trudis Liit.

In 2006, Luna was ranked number 9 in the FHM-Philippines list of sexiest women and was featured on the cover of the December 2006 issue of UNO magazine.

In 2020, she joined TV5 and hosted Chika, Besh! with Kapamilya actresses Pokwang and Ria Atayde.

In 2022, she started hosting the drama anthology show Love, Bosleng and Tali with her husband Vic Sotto and their daughter Talitha.

Personal life[]

By December 2011, Luna had begun dating her Eat Bulaga! co-host Vic Sotto after co-starring in Enteng ng Ina Mo, which he only confirmed in 2013. In September 2015, Sotto confirmed his engagement to Luna. The couple married on January 30, 2016 in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa. On May 6, 2017, Sotto announced on Eat Bulaga! that he and Luna were expecting their first child together. On November 6, four days before Pauleen Luna's 29th birthday, Vic Sotto announced on Eat Bulaga! that Pauleen has given birth to a girl named Talitha Maria, or Baby Tali.
