"Pinagpalang Ama" is the second Holy Tuesday episode of the 2015 edition of the annual drama anthology Eat Bulaga's Lenten Special. It succeeds the episode "Pangako ng Pag-Ibig" in the Tuesday lineup. The episode aired on 31 March 2015 with a total runtime of 65 minutes.

Each year, the anthology replaces the noontime show's regular programming in observance of the solemnity of Holy Week. Standalone episodes of short dramas are shown from Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday, with each episode having different characters, story, and director.

It is topbilled by Joey de Leon, Jose Manalo, Ryan Agoncillo, and Wally Bayola. Supporting cast includes Pilita Corrales, John Spainhour, and Super Sireyna/Suffer Sireyna 2014 contestants.

The episode is directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal. She directed another episode for the 2015 anthology titled "Aruga ng Puso".

Jessie (Jose Manalo) and Win-Win (Wally Bayola) are gay siblings who are reared by an understanding father Lino (Joey de Leon). The siblings frequently join beauty pageants in order to support the education of their youngest brother Edward (Ryan Agoncillo). After graduating from college, Edward is warmly welcomed by his family with a homecoming party to celebrate the occasion.

Upon returning home, Edward gets an unexpected visit from his college friend Brent (John Spainhour). Their private conversation reveals that they are in a relationship and Edward is keeping his sexuality from his family. Edward informs his family that Brent will be staying over with them. Observing Edward's movements with Brent, Jessie and Win-Win begin to suspect that their younger brother might also be gay. They confront Edward with a straightforward question, which their brother reluctantly confirms. Edward begs his brothers not to reveal his secret to their father, in fear of his reaction that his only remaining son also turned out to be gay.

Lino notices the extraordinary closeness between Edward and his friends, and begins to suspect his son's sexuality. However, he keeps quiet in hopes that the truth will come directly from Edward's mouth instead.

Edward joins a beauty pageant.

Jessie discovers suspicious text messages in Brent's phone and instantly kicks him out, believing that he has another lover. Edward defends his boyfriend and accuses his brother of jealousy. He insults his older brothers for having miserable lives in the province. Jessie and Win-Win fires back at his ingratitude and claims that, without their help, he would not have been able to graduate.

Edward also reveals that he actually graduated from nursing instead of criminology that he originally informed them. Hearing all of Edward's lies, Lino confronts his son for his dishonesty and inconsiderateness. Eventually, Edward apologizes to his family and reconciles with them. Lino asserts that he accepts Edward for who he truly in the same way that he accepted his other children's sexuality.

Edward joins a beauty pageant to help out his family in paying the rent. With the full support of his loving family, he takes home the crown.
