The second Pinoy Henyo: Battle of the Champions is a one-day special edition that was held on 7 July 2012.
The edition brought back the two winning pairs of the 2012 editions of Junior Pinoy Henyo and Pinoy Henyo: Intercollegiate Edition to compete in a game against Pamilyang Pinoy Henyo as well as the first-ever Battle of the Champions grand winners, Jing and Jian Cubilla. The three pairs faced against one another to see if the two winners of the recently concluded Pinoy Henyo editions can defeat the Cubilla Family as the ultimate champion.
Once again, the undefeated pair of Jing Cubilla and Jian Cubilla successfully defended their title and was declared as the two-time ultimate champion of the competition.
The competition was held on Saturday, 7 July 2012. It was primarily hosted by Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, while backstage hosting was conducted by Allan K, Julia Clarete, Keempee de Leon, and Anjo Yllana.
The three pairs who competed in the competition were Jeff Acala and Ninna Bonsol of Pinoy Henyo: Intercollegiate Edition, Aubrey Ambrosio and Alyanna Cosme of Junior Pinoy Henyo, and Jing and Jian Cubilla of Pamilyang Pinoy Henyo.
All three pairs were given the same set of ten words. Players of each pair must take turns in order to guess as much words as they can within the three-minute time limit. The words may come from any category. Pairs can opt to pass, but they cannot return to those skipped words. The pair with the most words wins the game.
In case of a tie in the number of words, the time of the first word guessed will be the deciding factor of the winner. Whichever pair guesses the first word the fastest ultimately wins the game.
Tito Sotto, Mike Enriquez, and Michael V made up the technical committee that were tasked to identify any violations and keep track of the time for each word. Violations may include providing responses other than "oo", "hindi" or "pwede" and using unnecessary gestures that may provide clues to the guesser.
Siblings Jing and Jian Cubilla of Pamilyang Pinoy Henyo were hailed as the undefeated grand champions of Pinoy Henyo after guessing two words within 2 minutes, 44 seconds. They received their second lightbulb-shaped trophy and ₱200,000 in cash prize. Half of their cash winnings were donated to Hinugayan Elementary School in their father's hometown of Barugo, Leyte.
