Throwback Hits by Request is a weekly musical presentation featuring the Broadway Boys with Filipino-Canadian singer Kayla Rivera. Together, they performed requests from viewers who would like to dedicate songs and to send messages to their friends and loved ones. The segment premiered on 15 August 2019 and ended on 17 October 2019.

The Broadway Boys is the young resident quartet of the noontime show composed of Lola's Playlist grand finalists Francis Aglabtin, Joshua Torino, Benidict Aboyme, and Joshua Lumbao.

The segment originally premiered as a standalone segment. Eventually, Throwback Hits by Request became a subsegment of Juan for All, All for Juan: Bayanihan of d' Pipol. Song requests were sent via email along with the names and messages of whom the requests are dedicated to. The performances were held on Thursdays.

The four members of the Broadway Boys came about after a successful stint on Lola’s Playlist, a retro-themed child singing competition that was originally released in 2016. The boys became regular performers on Eat Bulaga! after the conclusion of the contest, serenading the audience with classic hit songs along with Filipino music icons in a weekly concert titled Broadway Boys in Concert.[1]

One of the singers whom the Broadway Boys performed with is musical theater sensation Kayla Rivera. After a well-received initial performance with the Broadway Boys, Kayla became a regular guest performer of throwback hits with the quartet on the noontime show.

Soon, Kayla Rivera and the Broadway Boys were given the weekly segment Throwback Hits by Request. The noontime show asked its home viewers to send in song requests via email. On Thursdays, Kayla and the four boys performed several requested songs of the featured artist of the week.
