Tunog Tao 1999 is a segment that that concluded on 15 May 1999. It is a unique a capella competition for musical ensembles who can make unique sounds using only parts of their body. The unique sounds are musically combined together to act as a backing track for the group's singer.
Bowspak Sounds of Brgy. Bagong Silang, Caloocan City was hailed as the grand winner of the competition.

The grand finals was held on Saturday, 15 May 1999. It was hosted by Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Ruby Rodriguez, and Jimmy Santos. Six groups competed against one another, showcasing their level-up a capella performances in the final round of the competition.
The panel of judges included musician Alvin Nuñez, Eat Bulaga! host Allan K, and band drummer Paco Arespacochaga. The criteria for judging were as follows:
- 35% – Body rhythm (musical harmony, rhythm, timing)
- 35% – Musical artistry
- 20% – Costume
- 10% – Audience impact
Bowspak Sounds of Brgy. Bagong Silang, Caloocan City was hailed as the grand winner of the competition. The group took home the cash prize of ₱30,000.
Non-winners each received a consolation prize of ₱10,000.
